| it has come to my attention i hadn't posted in a while. this is true, its been like a couple weeks! lol i guess i'm too into using myspace now. url is www.myspace.com/gracepace if you wanna check that out!
so what's new. not much i guess.... yesterday for the first time, i had a very relaxing day on campus. slept in till 930 then went to a couple classes, then went outside and hung out with a new friend from my class. it was so weird, talking to someone, getting to know them, realizing that i'm a senior and almost done with school when they are just starting into it...... regardless, it was fun. Guy Cooper, a new friend!!! yey! its always fun to make new friends. hadn't done that in a while, it was nice. so yeah we hung out on the grassy green-space. then i went to class, then went running, then Yumiko, my old roomie had flown in from japan and she stopped by so i talked to her for about an hour. so good to see her for real. miss her alot!!!
get to go out to elmhurst tonight to be with akita. yey again! then we are gonna go running together in the morning before i have to come back for class.... which class starts at 8 so we have to be up a 530 for the run!!! geeeeze that is so early but itll be nice to get it out of the way. i'm freakin out tho.... he is so much faster than me, he's gonna kill me in the run!!!! but it should be a good time. i haven't run with him yet. two of us together on the prairie path in the morning! sweeeeeeet* | | |

these words were posted into akita's blog from today. it made me smile, it made me cry... i can't put into words how i feel about him. he's amazing.....
speaking of my boyfriend being amazing, he kicked ass at shamrock on sunday morning. i knew he was pumped about the race. he has been for a long time. at mile 2 he was still holding tight in the pack. at mile 4 i saw him put in a surge right after he passed the mile marker. i could tell from looking behind that he was ready to push in the last meters to go... racing to the finish with audrey, we were able to get there in time to watch our boys cross the line. akita had quite a kick. from being in the back end position for the team, he had moved up about 5 places and finished 2nd for our U-sole team. 10th over all. amazing race for him. i was so so proud so so proud of my awesome awesome man | | |
| seeing akita was great. i couldnt have asked for a better tuesday night away from my books and studying and all that junk that has been literally making me sick these days.......
he even stayed over, which meant him skipping out on morning practice! he said it was fine but i felt bad..... but i also saw how sweet he is. he gave up his run for me ;) he ended up having to wait until way way later the next night until he could finally head out for a short run.
and so here arrives the big day for me. comps test in just less then 30min away.....
